Is 10k$ enough for a film? I already have the equipment and volounteers.

Volunteers? That's shady as hell. How much can you "use" them before they got bored and eventually sue you for tyrany on set?
Hopefully, OP, you have experience with cameras, editing, sound editing, composing, etc, right?

Of course I don’t. How hard it could it possibly be?

Why would it cost anything?

Sure. Its an extremely tight budget but just write out the script properly Find a location that you can use cheap or for free. Figure out how to frame all the scenes before you get everyone on set but be prepared to improvise because of unforseen circumstances like random clutter taking more space than you expected. Don't attempt any long takes. Don't think too much about realistic lighting, just make the things that you want to be lit in the frame to be lit for the camera. Get everyone some food, coffee and cold bottled water. Enjoy learning about all the things that can go wrong despite your best efforts.

Op is going to ask his crew to crowdfund a pizza after 5 hours of shooting and make everyone rage-quit.

A ten thousand dollar movie looks better than a ten thousand dollar movie trying to look like a few hundred thousand

Interesting I'm in the same boat, I put aside 10k too but I have someone who wants to invest another 10k (but I don't know how serious they are) and I have reserve funds if something goes wrong.

I'm writing/acting, my buddy who's made some short films is directing, I'm filming guerilla style in abandoned locations so that'll be cool, my only real issue is audio I need good equipment and a good sound guy who knows what he's doing.

Yes.
>Eli Roth made Cabin Fever on a $10k budget.
>Robert Rodriguez made El Mariachi on a $7k budget.

>Set aside $9000.
>Spent $7000.
>In 1991 dollars.

Get your crew to wear multiple hats, including your cast.
Work with locations and resources you have.
Don't gearfag.

I have that exact PVM right next to me on my desk and am going to play some video games on it now. Thanks, OP.

Plan plan plan. Have your actors rehearse a ton without the camera rolling too. The hardest thing for cheaper films today is not making it look cheap. Tubi is flooded with awful looking movies. Make yours look and feel like film. Figure that out before entering production.

If you care about what reddit thinks of you you’ll end up like the save a fox girl who killed herself over a shark subreddit with like a dozen members lol
