The worst thing about season 2 is it's just skits where each of them can complain about their day jobs without adding the funny in. The worst one to me was the firefighter skit since Nick would constantly complain about them on the podcast. It just seems like wish fulfillment on his part, really cringe behavior like when comedians create skits where they can get back at people who wronged them in a controlled environment. Don't ever wanna hear Sam talk about what art really is or what makes for good comedy again.

Sam hires so many people to do work for him, why cant he hire good writers? I do not understand this. Just hire some good fucking writers.

Their humor in general isn't understood by most. It doesnt help when many of the skits weren't sussed out. Most of them had a great premise, but didn't have a resolution/punchline (gardening, nfl execs, steve harvey). If not for being a music intro, the contractors skit would have been lame, too.

I liked the construction sketch and the doctor sketch was ok, the one with Nick was funny. Charls sketch was good. The Fireman sketch with Alex dragged a bit, didn't feel worth it for the payoff of nick shouting at him. Didn't think the Horny Family Feud paid off as well as it maybe could have.

Overall I'd say it was better than the first episode but I still hate Alex Schultz.

i think the real issue is they have no one to answer to. a lot of the humor of the first season was the fact that they were getting away with saying the things they were on a big network. there's no more jewish producers to make uncomfortable with a Jews Rock sketch. it's just these guys trying to make each other laugh while not really trying to push each other's boundaries. but since they're their own bosses now, their boundaries are the only thing left to try and push and they're not really doing that.
there's still a lot of funny shit, but there's also pointless stuff like the firefighter sketch. there's no real point of view there. i'd put the day laborer sketch and Charls' streamer date sketch in the same boat. a few funny jokes but ultimately lacking a point.

I feel like it’s been decent so far. They’re doing full 30 minute episodes now so there’s definitely some shit that feels like fluff, but each episode has had at least 2 solid sketches. The Charls streamer sketch and the Eric hayden contractor sketch were great. Schultz is nowhere near as good a director as Ruse and Sam’s performances so far have been lackluster, but other than that it’s good.

I watch those re-cut videos on YouTube that trim the fat and make each episode 15 minutes long. Episode 2 was definitely way better then Episode 1 in almost every regard.
