I think the reality is that, while there's a fair bit of negative WOM, there's also plenty of positive WOM and plenty of people who've heard that it's weird/has a wild ending and have to see for themselves. Its legs will continue to be decent. I expect it to be comfortably profitable and end up only mildly below Sony's expectations. It'll also do well on streaming.
They'll probably wait for at least some test screenings of Bone Temple before greenlighting part 3 though.

I saw it matinee so it was cheap. I'd give it better than 6/10 just for the creativity of it. On a small screen it'd prob suck unless you had a great system.

IMO the problem is they seemed to want to take the 'world' a few different directions, and thematically made an odd mix of a movie. It works and delivers, but they coulda cut Jimmy out entirely and lost nothing.
