One of the things I miss most was when you could instantly tell someone came from reddit due to their use of the word "incel". Its hard to believe now but nobody on 4chan used "incel" at the time it was already all over reddit. Everytime some redditor tried to blend in with his "edgy internet lingo" he was caught immediately . They would always react so confused lol "h-h-how did they see through my disguise so fast??"

I'm a 2011 newfag. my first 4chan experience was fapping to trap threads on /b/.

This place used to be super fucking edgy and pretentious and I’m kind of glad we’ve moved on from that. I’d say edgy elitist era 4chan peaked in 2019 on places like /lit/ but here too. /mu/ was also still relevant back then.

Really though? I wasted my life here when I would have been better off spending my time on the more normie platforms. I made a bunch of accounts on those sites this year because I was *stalking some chick* and there’s actually a lot of creativity and epic maydays on those places. Only thing is, I’d rather stay anonymous than talk to real people for the most part.
