What "good storylines" should it have adapted? Millennials can only name things that started in the late 80s. I bet you think it should have done things that were only introduced in the comics decades after it aired. Although it did several things that were later done in comics or informed adaptations but never gets credit, like the possibility of replacing Diana with another Amazon champion (Orana, Artemis), Etta being in the military, the crossed bracelets pose, talking to animals, the whole idea of period piece + modern day setting that they keep repeating.
