No The Master in top 2 along with Mulholland Dr
No Toy Story 3 either
No I Saw the Devil
The NYT should be turned into a shelter for deranged, smelly hobos. No, wait, that's already happened
>>212057750 >according to actors directors hollywood
is this a bad thing? Creators are weighing in on the discussion, if anything that makes the list more credible
>>212057579 (OP)
movies I've watched from that list:
28. The Dark Knight (can't remember shit/10)
15. City of God (8/10)
14. Inglourious Basterds (3/10)
13. Children of Men (5/10)
11. Mad Max Fury Road (8/10)
8. Get Out (8/10)
6. No Country for Old Men (5/10)
2. Mulholland Drive (9/10)
1. Parasite (9/10)

what, you honestly believe if these people don't pick the "right" movies they're gonna get blacklisted or something? The poll was probably anonymous in the first place
>>212057886
I disagree with plenty of your shit but I appreciate you giving Children of Men a deserving score. Yeah I get the themes are pertinent and whatever but the movie simply isn't good
There’s some mad recency bias. Anatomy of a Fall? Ain’t nobody talking about that pile of shit. I like Zone of Interest but Top 11? Please. And Moonlight is the stereotypical black movie that all critics pile on. It’s also extremely gay so it’s like 4x as woke worthy to use.
>>212058125 >I just thought it was sleep inducingly boring >he doesn't know
of course the post-apocalypse would be boring as fuck. How can you claim to be a fan of that shit if you don't know that?
>>212058217
Wait fuck I'm retarded I was thinking of Dark Knight Rises, Dark Knight was the one where he doesn't save ras ah goul right? That one was alright.
>>212057579 (OP) >children of men 13 >brokebuck 17 >budapest hotel 22 >arrival 29
Not just overrated, those are legitimately bad movies, and I'm only listing those I watched. I wouldn't vote eternal sunshine but I can understand why women would put it where it is, and Dark Knight was competent at what it was doing.
Hard to not notice that all but 5 are American, but they don't even go for the good all American movies.

Seriously? Moonlight is better than Brokeback Mountain in their opinion? If you look at these two homo movies, Brokeback Mountain is objectively better. Two famous sexy actors, Anne Hathaway's boobs, well-shot nature scenes, just a normal drama. No one is interested in nigger shit with suffering in Monnlight.

no country for old men is not a great movie and i don't know why people pretend that it is
most other coen brothers movies are better than that one
>>212057886
No Country is a 6.5. I know, I used to think it was awesome too. It's depressing, flows badly and seems to have no point. It might as well be about some kid on the lam for robbing a 7-11. It has a few memorable moments.

Budapest is great, not for everyone, obviously, but I love it. You're right though and I'd add plenty others in the bad column too. Modern movies are largely dog shit
