>no bullhead

The only films on it which deserve to be are Mulholland, Drive, The Lives of Others and No Country for Old Men. I think of Theodore Dalrymple's remarks about propaganda in communist societies when I consider that bullshit like Superbad or Black Panther appear on that list. It's not even laughable, it's mortifying.

Where the fuck is Shrek.
I hate critics for this, any top X of Y lists never involve Shrek for some reason even though I know for a fact most people love it and especially people in the age bracket to be reviewing movies for a living have probably seen it a 100 times and enjoyed the fuck out of it way more than Godfather 2 or some french new wave bullshit.
It's such obvious bias for wanting to look sophisticated rather than talking about what gives you genuine joy, which adds to the irony because that's exactly in line with the themes of Shrek.

Parasite being first is the only big surprise. Also Yi Yi being so low. The rest just follows the same trend I've seen in some earlier lists.

Example, Hollywood Reporter Critics list:

1. 'Yi Yi' (2000)
2. 'Inside Llewyn Davis' (2013)
3. 'The Gleaners and I' (2000)
4. 'Zodiac' (2007)
5. 'Mulholland Drive' (2001)
6. 'Spirited Away' (2001)
7. 'Brokeback Mountain' (2005)
8. 'In the Mood for Love' (2000)
9. '4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days' (2007)
