im pretty sure thats an old one, there is a much longer deleted fight scene between shaw and prometheus, prometheus looks around in the ship's rooms and finds a recording of violin playing and books, and seems intrigued.
all the deleted scenes show that they originally were making a more engineer focused movie with a sequel for it too, the original ending was shaw not trusting david anymore and only using his head to make him fly the ship to paradise. originally they intended the crew to find the sacrificial cups instead of those green vials, which were also retconned into being created by david or humans or something in covenant or romulus.
