My problem is binge drinking mainly and I don’t have a physical dependency so it might work different if you’re the type who’s drinking to maintain a buzz all day. Before at my worst I would probably have 20-30 standard drinks in about an eight-hour window four or five times a week. I just take 50mg an hour before I drink now and I’m down to maybe four or five drinks, slowly, once or twice a week. You can still get kind drunk but more tired and loagy instead of /whatalife/. You don’t get that rush. It eliminates the compulsion to chase that initial feeling because you don’t really get it. Bear in mind that it does make you feel kind of sick and retarded, at least at first for me. I’m basically trying to do the Sinclair Method on myself so I only take it when I know I’m going to drink. Might be drinking if you’re taking it every day with the intention of not drinking at all, but there are people who use it like that
