They'd be arrested for that plus the kidnapping of Anora. Also they think they can just go into court and get an annulment even though Ani doesn't agree to it and it was legally binding? I thought it was great, my personal pick of the best picture nominees. Very rare that what I think was the best picture actually wins, and even rarer that I like the winner at Cannes. Whenever I start watching a movie and it has a Cannes laurel at the start I usually know I'm not going to like it.
