the VC didn't buttblast the americans though, they got buttblasted in the Tet Offensive and weren't a really a distinct force afterwards. The mjaority of Communist forces in the South after Tet were Northerners, either PAVN or just Northerners in the post-Tet VC.

Why haven't we gotten a modern Vietnam movie yet that explains how not even the south wanted us there, we insisted, and the North was simply family-oriented communists who wanted peace for all Vietnam. Russia and China were trying to save Vietnam, but we wouldn't allow it. The southern Vietnamese were all terrorists. When will we get the truth!?

I remember starting watching this one time and I dropped it after getting bored with all the wedding and woman shit in the beginning and having nothing to do about war. Does it get any better afterwards should I give it one more try?
