Not quite. Bleeding a kyber crystal is a conscious act. Note how the blade in Vader's lightsaber didn't change color even after all the Jedi and children he killed in the temple. They actually introduce the concept in the comics first with Vader constructing the lightsaber we'd see him use in the OT. I personally like that the space magic actually factors into their weapons and think it's neat that they provide an explanation to why they don't just handle like flashlights where the light beam actually hurts you instead of just being a regular light beam and that lightsabers handle like actual swords. The idea of there being reasons for the colour of a lightsaber is stupid to begin with. At most the colour choice can be seen as a creative decision to infer meaning to the audience, without having meaning within the context of the film's lore itself.

Original Luke had his father's blue lightsaber. Obi-Wan's was also blue because they were both Jedi Knights. Vader's lightsaber was very likely red just to contrast well with Obi-Wan's lightsaber when they fight in ANH. At the stage of that film being made Luke's father and Vader were two different characters. It's easy to assume that Vader's lightsaber was red simply because he had a red lightsaber. The only reason he had a lightsaber to begin with was because he was a still practicing jedi, despite having betrayed the jedi order. Retroactively you can infer the red to represent that betrayal, but at the time of the choice it likely wasn't the case. Luke getting a green lightsaber in Return is simply to demonstrate his growth. He no longer idolizes his father (whose blue lightsaber he previously used). He has become a jedi knight and his lightsaber, made of his own craft, shows his newfound individuality.

That's as far as lightsaber colours go in the original trilogy (which is all that matters, honestly). The Sith (The Emperor) did not use lightsabers, outside of Vader. They were a "jedi weapon" that Vader only continued to use due to being a Jedi.

I legitimately have no idea what they were going for with this story. It reminds me of Warcraft III wherein things just happen because there has to be a story, and it largely revolves around characters acting entirely on impulse despite there being no reason or ticking clock. Take a five minute breather to talk and nothing happens, which is even funnier in context because 90% of this show is people talking, but it's always about inane bullshit that has no context or purpose.
Baffling that anybody OK'd this without demanding rewrites so that, you know, there was an actual or story or some development. Shit, what would have even been the plans for S2? I guarantee it would have opened with the one chick regaining her memories, rendering the A1 finale inert and pointless.
