>>212137873 (OP)I finished watching pic related tonight, and I don't think I've ever been angrier at the existence of the sequel trilogy, topping even the shock at how awful TLJ was. Missed opportunities and failed potential to make adequate films is one thing, but when a master crafted show like this comes along and really hammers home how retarded and shitty all of Disney Star Wars has been with its incessant key jangling, memberries, and action shlock it really puts things in a brand new perspective just how much was lost.
The worst part of all is this amazing show with all its interesting characters and compelling plots of political intrigue and rebellion... it's all in service of nothing thanks to the sequels. People you come to know and care about sacrificing themselves for what they believe in. Scenes of dozens of civilians getting gunned down in the streets by a ruthless regime. It's all in service of nothing. The Rebellion doesn't defeat the Empire. Palpatine doesn't die. The Republic doesn't come back. All this captivating and compelling drama and it all leads to absolutely nothing because Disney is run by the most incompetent and retarded group of people imaginable, so they couldn't come up with anything better than Rebels vs Empire 2: Electric Boogaloo.
I'd like to reject the Sequels as canon, but I don't think I will. I'm always going to keep them and keep Andor in my mind, and remember why I will absolutely never care about any other Disney Star Wars product ever again on account of how for every one good thing they make, there's 12 other things that undermine/ruin it.
