so why did they run around in trench coats and latex outfits when plugged into the matrix?

Maybe that was considered fashion for them, they certainly couldn't dress like that in the real world.

Why do zoomies wear clothes 5x too large? Because it was the style at the time.

Because you can wear and be whoever you want in the Matrix.

One of the reasons that I prefer Dark City to the Matrix are the costumes and set design. I just think Dark City ends up holding up better as it is kind of timeless as it's primarily rooted in the past.

Don't care about this crap. These movies are a unique product of their time and completely mog anything made in decades. I want as much runtime as possible with them. So happy they made Animatrix and multiple tie-in games. Unlike modern movies, they actually put a ton of thought and effort into these.

i watched a fan edit of The Hobbit which omitted all the non-book content and another fan edit of the Star Wars sequels which combines the last two movies and changes the narrative so Leia had twins which were Kylo/Ben and Rey. both still sucked, you can't salvage terrible films with editing alone no matter what anyone tells you about the first Star Wars movie.

The "Star War was saved in edit" thing is a meme spread by retards who hate the prequels so they have to pretend George was always a hack even though American Graffiti exists to disprove this claim

I'd never claim he was a hack...but sometime art is improved by limitations.
> Initially, director Steven Spielberg intended to feature the mechanical shark much more frequently.
However, the three animatronic shark models built for the film had significant technical problems, primarily due to the saltwater environment of Martha's Vineyard where the film was shot. Saltwater corroded the internal mechanics and caused the rubber skin to deteriorate, leading to frequent breakdowns. This forced Spielberg to adjust his filming strategy
