>>212148594 (OP)>do people that want to restore the Snyderverse have any concept of time, aging, contracts, scheduling, or branding? No, I don't think they care.
For most of the people who are genuinely involved in the 'online movement,' if we are so generous as to call it that, they are mostly only there due to the feeling of purpose and community it gives them. It's the same as people who join 'fandoms' of old, dead properties like Parappa the Rapper or My Life as a Teenage Robot on Tumblr or whatever. They aren't bothered with the impossibility of it, or even the diminishing returns of reboots, they want it to return.
Snyder's take on the DC universe means something to these idiots since they felt like his gritty, self-serious take on these heroes allowed them to appreciate their childhood favorite characters and setting while still feeling 'adult' and not gay or autistic. So there's that personal investment part of it as well.
But most people who shitpost about restoring the Snyderverse don't actually give a shit, and are just trolling both sides for lols.
There's also a new, weird political angle to it. For some random reason some terminally online MAGAboomers have decided that the not-yet-released James Gunn film is woke or lame, and that by contrast the Snyder films must have been 'based' or whatever.
