>>212154576It's all such a blur. That's why I'm glad I finished it because it really is a one of a kind experience. It's like watching paint dry. It's not like it's ever infuriating or terrible, its just aggressively mediocre. From what I remember:
Season 3 they get to the future and face off against the Emerald Chain who were like the Orion Syndicate who had taken over the quadrant after all warp powered spaceships became unusable because a future Saru alien had a mental breakdown and his brainwaves caused all the dilithium to explode or something? I'm not making this up. So they have to try to help rebuild the federation while fighting the Emerald Chain. Pretty boring.
Season 4: A space anomaly eats an entire planet and Book decides to join with a guy from Risa who hates pleasure and they want to find the anomaly and kill the aliens who ate the planet and killed Books nephew. Burnham goes after them, meets the aliens and gives speeches and they turn off the anomaly. That was basically IT for the season aside from some smaller politic type stuff, so I'm gonna say season 4 wins for most boring.
Season 5 like I said has the puzzle aspect which keeps the season moving, it has the Simp Breen and the sort of fugly blonde chick who he follows around as they try to also solve the matrix puzzle. OH. It's revealed that David Cronenbergs character was Daniels from the time bureau in Enterprise. Why? I don't know.
Oh also at some point they go back to the mirror universe and then the Guardian of Forever shows up and scoots Michelle Yeoh off the show. Yes, the Guardian of Forever from TOS. That might have been season 3?
This is what I mean it's just really really hard to rank them in terms of boringness. They're all boring in their own unique ways. Also Tilly makes the show increasingly unwatchable. It's like as she got fatter her character became more of a bitch.
That's all I can really dig up I watched it all a few years ago or whenever the last season of STD ended
