>Only portrays the attack from the Blackwater and doesn't even mention or imply that it occurs in tandem with a siege from the south on the King's Gate >No portrayal of the fighting that occurs inside the city by criminals and drunks >No portrayal of Joffrey's navy and the tactics used to execute the wildfire attack, instead it just makes Tyrion look lucky and Stannis like an even bigger retard >The Queen's Ballroom is the size of a bedroom with like 20 nobles in it rather than the many dozen it can and does occupy during the battle >Matthos being consumed by wildfire while Davos is pulled backwards to safety by plot armor >Tiny soundstage for the battle at the gate and on the beach >Fight choreography is embarrassing, particularly for Stannis but also Tyrion >Stannis is on one tiny piece of the gate walls for the entire post-landing sequence and has to be comically dragged off by his soldiers at the end >Tywin's cartoonish arrival at the end
2/10 episode, poor adaptation and execution of what little it tried to adapt. Just a fucking atrocious episode overall. People complain about The Long Night pretending like this piece of shit wasn't the prelude to that garbage.

Oh and >No trebuchets
How fucking cheap can you be? Do CGI baby dragons cost THAT much?
Only compliment I'll give is The Hound still turns in a solid performance, both the actor and the writing for him.
>>212158169 >>212158337
they also cut out the Antler Men because Stannis is a heckin evil bigot and no one would ever support him even if the alternative was Joffrey
>>212158169
Most of those complaints are due to budget, a budget of 8 million wasn't enought to shoot decent battle scene.
Isn't the whole point in the book that reason why Stannis men shit their pants is because Loras rides though the city wearing Renry's helmet, and Stannis men believe Renly has come back from the death to punish them.
They resort to this shock, because Tywin and Loras don't have enough men.
Tywin has suffered high casulties in the battle of Fords against Edmure.

no. got had brother/sister and hotd has brother/sister and uncle/niece. there is one part in got where a boy who's like 8 is still sucking milk out of his mom tits but that was just bc she was a crazy bitch

Blackwater is probably the best episode of the show because it made me root for Tyrion again and, therefore, the Lannisters for the first time
Great show from start to finish. Bingechads dont notice any decline in quality just an increase in pacing. Truly the best way to experience this kino. The shows redemption in the next generation will be glorious.
>>212164770 >dont notice any decline in quality
Well they should notice even more considering the vast majority of plot lines and character schemes don't go anywhere. Very easy to forget over the years, but stands out like a sore thumb on a binge
Also, >plotfags not realizing a show is about the characters and the setting for the millionth time
ngmi, bingechads dont spent weeks creating headcanon for every potential plot thread.
>>212165026
Pic very much related. Cersei's prophecy went nowhere and had zero point to it. She was never killed by any valonqar. Exactly why bingefags are utter retads.
>>212157187 (OP) >Who is this that seeks audience before the King? Identify yourself and your noble house. >Yeah, hi. I'm Frank... Uhhhh... Of House Reynolds!... Yeah, I'm the boss of the family. I basically run things with my crew, or my family or whatever. Yeah, yeah, we work schemes and do all kinds of shit! It's crazy! Anyway, Might I petition your highness for some gold so I can better serve the Crown and provide for the people of my house?! >... House Reynolds... Is that in the Riverlands? >No, it's in fuckin' Philly! I don't live in this shit hole!
>>212165091
Wasnt cerseis prophecy in the show just that she marries the king and all her kids die? Just elaborate foreshadowing with a hint of an explanation why shes so psycho when it comes to her kids. But beyond that theres plenty of prophecies and omens that dont come true. Its all bullshit but it adds to the aura when one actually happens to be real.

Should I feel like I haven't lived enough if I haven't pissed my pants when drunk? Sometimes I feel like a gimp for not doing stuff like that or blacking out on drugs or some shit.
>>212165849
i guess it's humbling and a good lesson in self control. never pissed myself but i have drank to the point of vomiting a few times and had one or two instances of saying really dumb shit drunk. neither were very fun. now i usually drink once a month, if that.

My best druk moment was waking up on the grass in a backyard after a house party with some cats snuggled up to me. I remember spending the first couple minutes after I woke up wondering where the fuck I was while I was petting the cats.

He was so good that despite only appearing in 7 episodes of the first season he is the most heavily memed character across the entire franchise and one of the most fondly remembered in general

HOTD
Adapted 17-pages of the book.
Jesus christ.
They just filled entire season with filler because they didn't have a budget for two battles.
Season 3 should have 3 majors battles, in the start, middle, and end.
No way is that happening with these hacks.
I wouldn't be surprised if season starts AFTER the battle of Gullet, and find some other retarded way to kill Jaca.
I haven't been keeping up.
Is there any indication that HOTD season 3 will be better than HOTD season 2?
Or will they continue to run it off the rails into something totally different?
>>212170565
seems even more off the rails than season 2, rhaena is literally nettles and alys and a green man are going to give all the dragonseeds visions at harrenhal
>"When the hammer shall fall upon the dragon, a new king shall arise, and none shall stand before him."
So Alys will be the one to tell Hugh this prophecy and he will think itβs about him rather than Rhaegar and Bobby. Iβm guessing her goal is to get rid of all the dragons and dragon riders for the sake of the old gods or something retarded like that.
>>212158169
after reading the book, the only element i dislike they changed was that Tyrion doesn't end up killing like half his own navy in the process, like it's silly that they completely unoppose the naval landing
>>212177241
All sources say itβs having an early 2026 and first quarter release. Jan is just speculation because they donβt have any other big show to air in that slot.
>>212172788
It's pretty funny to see him become so disillusioned that he's gone from thinking there's a genius masterplan behind every mystery box to nitpicking little details that make complete sense and don't require any criticism.
>>212181672
Same time frame βearly 2026β, Dunk and Egg will be the face of the launch it seems, which is good because it means HBO are confident that itβs a success. I wonder if that means it will eat into the promo budget for HOTD later in the year though.
