the biggest question in regards to this is: do you want to quit? there is nothing that can be done until you sincerely want to quit. no matter how much you struggle with self-control and other problems like that, when you at least want to quit, thats a massive first step and its definitely worth going to AA. im not an alcoholic myself but my half-brother has been struggling with alcohol his whole life and finally had enough and started attending my countries equivalent to AA and its doing wonders for him.

I quit drinking back in september after I day drank one saturday and had severe panic attacks for 4 days following that. I still dont know if it was withdrawals or just in my head, I was only a weekend binger and only ever drank beer
