You know what annoyed me.
Doesn't really matter how big dinos are, bullets kill.
JP2 did a good job showing organized humans would dominate dinos. Only breaking down when they decided to be sport hunters and not an extraction squad.
End of the day JP is not war of the worlds or any other story about humanity fighting hords of monsters but small scale stories about a few people surviving against and in a world of dinos.

They were successful but they weren’t good, what quality they did have was largely by virtue of rehashing the first entry in their respective series. After that franchise slop spun out of control, plus egregious “wokeness” got shoved into every movie. Jurassic is one of the few exceptions to the latter point, actually.
