All jokes aside, Severance was historically bad not because of the plot or cast, but because the producer (Ben Stiller, 4'11) thought it would be a great idea to but two diametrically-opposed showrunners in to run the show into the ground by having them work on the first two seasons completely separately. This is why Season 1 was significantly better than Season 2. With the people currently in charge (including Ben Stiller, 4'11), Season 3 is two years out at best. This is plenty of time for people to forget the plot once again, be forced to rewatch it and endure the headspinning, jarring difference between showrunners, then ready their mouths for more diarrhea from whatever slop alcoholic crew member is holding the show hostage.

TV shows could be, quite literally, the most retarded medium directed to the most idiotic masses. Aside from very few examples, which could be 0.001% of all material ever created for TV, most of it is dogshit.
Why THE FUCK, would anyone watch a tv show based on a videogame? You are literally forcing yourself to go through a worse medium. You are removing direct interaction with the material. Removing a whole entire dimension and implementing all kinds of limitations that affect the narrative of the story.
