But the fatal error the party made was running a man who was already senile 4 years earlier, and by 2024 had deteriorated so badly he had to drop out. It's possible Kamala would have had a better chance if Biden dropped out earlier but it's an indictment on the party that they ran him in the first place. Any idiot could have told you Trump would run again in 24, so that lack of foresight demonstrates incompetence.
You could also make the argument Trump only lost in 20 because COVID happened. In which case you could have run almost anyone against the sitting president and win, but they chose the senile guy.
Democrats suck at this and need to reevaluate if they don't want to keep getting cucked by Republicans in future elections. I'm just calling it like I see it.
