James Cameron has a special propriety relationship with the titanic and also the deep sea submersible community. He is probably upset that the titan foolish stunt is now forever linked with the titanic tragedy. Now when people watch the ending of his movie and rose throws the diamonds in the water they are going to imagine it landing on the titans view port which was never recovered.

Oh! ye three unsurrendered spires of mine; thou uncracked keel; and only god-bullied hull; thou firm deck, and haughty helm, and Pole-pointed prow,โ€”death-glorious submersible! must ye then perish, and without me? Am I cut off from the last fond pride of meanest shipwrecked captains? Oh, lonely death on lonely life! Oh, now I feel my topmost greatness lies in my topmost grief. Ho, ho! from all your furthest bounds, pour ye now in, ye bold billows of my whole foregone life, and top this one piled comber of my death! Towards thee I roll, thou all-destroying but unconquering Titanic; to the last I grapple with thee; from hellโ€™s heart I stab at thee; for hateโ€™s sake I spit my last breath at thee. Sink all coffins and all hearses to one common pool! and since neither can be mine, let me then tow to pieces, while still chasing thee, though tied to thee, thou damned Titanic! Thus, I give up the Logitech!โ€

>More dramatically, a lawsuit filed by Rush's wife, Wendy, alleges that in the days after the disappearance of the Titan submersible, Cameron called their home phone several and played an audio clip of the acoustic recording later identified as the Titan imploding despite Wendy's requests not too.

It's actually pretty fucking obvious, the submarine hull was fatigued from undergoing the load cycling dive after dive. It wasn't properly designed or built to handle those forces (it actually wasn't even the carbon fiber, it was the retarded way they used it to construct the hull) so eventually all that accumulated material stress and damage caused a catastrophic failure, which at those depths inevitably means an implosion that begins and ends within a few hundredths of a second.
Nobody realized this because the sub was designed by college kids at a state school and third-rate engineers who couldn't find employment elsewhere.
Honestly two years is too fucking long IMO, let's move this story out of the public consciousness already so we can focus on more important stuff like discussing the male gaze in modern cinema.

The coast guard and the NTSB have not issued reports yet. But this guy from the coast guard hearing presents a leading theory that the failure was in the glue joint between the front titanium ring and the carbon hull. It could have been damaged by flexing when the titan was lifted out of the water or by water getting in and freezing when it was left outdoors during the winter. If you look at pics of the rings from the wreckage you can see that the whole C joint was sheered off and none of the carbon remains glued to the front ring.

If I had been on that sub, it wouldn't have gone down like it did. Held up my hands against the walls to contain the pressure, start duct taping the inside of the hull to cover up cracks, etc. I wouldn't have just sat there and accepted it.

He's referencing time contraction, where each passing year is shorter than the last. Time is moving faster, so it isn't accurate to say that 2010-2020 is the same length of time as, 2000-2010. Before that it evens out a bit, but here soon we will reach a point where the span of 10 years is more akin to the length of 3 years from 50 years ago.

Literally never once claimed by anyone except absolute retards
The energy of the implosion was estimated at 50-100 MJ, which is equivalent to a few sticks of dynamite. Go watch some videos of any of your favorite jewish wars to see that there are indeed many fragments left over after an explosion that size.

The problem is that you're using DIVES, where you need to expend a ton of energy getting down that far. Since people float they'd just need to hold their breath and remain calm to minimize their oxygen usage and leg themselves float to the surface.

Now in all likelihood they'd still die since they didn't get training on how to manage their panic so its kind of a moot point

Anon, I want to thank you for coming along on this dive, your confidence in this project is admirable. Foolish, but admirable. Alas, the acoustic monitoring system has confirmed the hull of this vessel will soon fail, and I'm afraid that the escape pod has only enough space for myself.

Do not fret though, in some ways I envy you. You shall go down in history as an intrepid explorer of the depths, while the public will likely tarnish my reputation as a result of these events. Nevertheless it is no matter, I have plenty of alternative identifies I can assume to continue my work. Once my pod reaches the surface and I'm safely aboard the surface ship we will call the coast guard to come survey the area. The items I've left aboard will certainly convince all that I have perished alongside you.

Goodbye Anon, you were a good friend.

I mean, obviously, you use pvc, it's what pool floaties are made of, which are basically the same as life preservers, which are used when a boat sinks, making them tougher than boats, so get to the hardware store and buy some pipes to start building an invincible submarine, and this tme we're using a Madkatz controller, it's got turbo, so if anything does go wrong, we just turbo back to the surface, everything's peaches and garlic, right? Safe as pistols, home with the missus.
