what do you mean? The Shield ended just about as perfectly as humanly possible. Vic exposed himself as the vile snake he is and sent his most loyal friend to die in prison while being humiliated publicly in the Barn and losing his family which he kept around as glorified trophies. it's of course heartbreaking how things ended with the rest of the strike team who were all benign cops before Vic ruined them but it had to happen. they did too much shit.

No, not at all. It wasn't "the ending" it was the whole final seasons plural. They always have to take it too far. Vic wasn't some piece of trash from the pilot. And he wasn't portrayed as some inhuman monster at the start of the show.
What I was "attached" to was a decent show. Endings are hard but they seem 10x harder on actual decent shows. They always tard out.
