Jet sabotaged season 4 purely because he was upset at how shitty Bloodgames 2 was going to be, I think he was secretly very unhappy with the new hires and Sodaman's plans and coordinated with Sam to create the scheme that was the season 4 rugpull. But it wasn't for money because they don't really need money and it's not like Jet lives a luxurious life aside from designer clothes, it was exclusively to axe the tumors they saw growing in the company. Sodaman, all the new guys they hired, I don't think Jet or Sam saw a clean way of cleaning up the house without playing a magic trick and obscuring the prestige. He loves Bloodgames, he's talked so much about how that's his swag how he cares about it more than main season so I could definitely imagine a scenario where he loses control of the project because of all the new hires and it just becomes so gay that nobody except Sodaman wants to work on it. It was a rugpull of purge by proxy rather than being motivated by monetary gain, so Jet and Sam could reign in the power they were losing.
