And nothing this big releases in August. June/July are the summer tentpoles. You don't release big family movies in August unless it's animated. June/July are the months you capitalize on people being out and about.

It comes a week after JP, which by bad reviews is going to fall off a cliff after opening weekend. And two weeks before Fantastic Four which is also getting its fair share of criticism from Pascal as Reed to Sue being a girl boss and the leader. So there really is no escuse of Superman falters
