Consider this: 2/3 of India hasn't come online yet. Consider that up until now, India has been sending their BEST. It's a grim dark future for the internet no matter how you look at it, jeets aside. The internet is only going to get worse and worse, less free.
I can only hope that the future internet is trifurcated. I want local, national and international internet that are completely separate from each other. You already have this in a sense based on user freedom of what you're looking for, but I want it official. I want to discuss things with people in my town or in my country with 100% certainty that I'm not talking to a leaf, or a 3rdworlder, or a europoor, or god forbid an indian.
