Used to watch this with my dad, he wanted to stop watching when Liz died. He (rightfully) thought there's no reason to go on since she's the main character
teebeeheich the show was already losing steam for a while at that point. To this day I have no idea how this ends besides the fact that he gets run over by a bull or something? seems terrible.

Remember when the showrunner left, and in his final episode he finally reveals Raymond's past and it gets SO CLOSE to showing he's a trans man that even my dad started to think that's what was going to happen? They chicken out of it tho and it's just more meaningless mush

this scene is very cute. could have been the ending.
the part where Raymond just looks at statues and the song goes "I'm getting old and I need something to rely on" got me. Incredible face acting from Spader but that's expected. I don't know how I'm gonna handle my dad getting old bros.

either way, it's an ok show. Carried by Spader giving the performance of his life every episode, shocks me he's not in bigger things but maybe we do need that one GOAT who only does schlock every once in a while.

I watched the entire show. It's even more bonkers than that stuff.

I watched this shit all the way to the end and the last few seasons were mega ass, but I actually didn't hate the bull ending. Red getting caught by the feds or dying to an enemy were ridiculous to even be an option at that point anyway, and there's no way he'll die a natural death, so some weird freakshow death makes the most sense.
The show made him out to be some sort of force of nature, so let a force of nature kill him.

There was a subplot of him having a serious illness several seasons. Dying to an enemy or to illness were the most logical if they wanted to kill him off but really his character should have rode off into the sunset somehow
