I watched an advanced early screening. A scene shows a CGI Henry Cavill being tortured in boiling shit, Superman faces the screen and goes "erm, THIS is awkward."

Yeah I was at the same screening. I was pretty surprised by this movie, it was actually really good, probably the best superhero movie in ages. The trailers don't tell you much about the interesting turns it ends up taking, I thought they hid that really well in the marketing. I did think the post credits scene where James Gunn rapes a child onscreen was a bit strange though, but I guess it technically isn't part of the movie.

This film is incredibly jewish, in both theme and plot. The jewish superman is weak and must realize on the goyim league to bail him out, but his inner circle of friends is entirely jewish. Its remiscent of Israel bombing Iran and then demanding the US to back them. This won't resonate with general audiences.
