Yeah I was at the same screening. I was pretty surprised by this movie, it was actually really good, probably the best superhero movie in ages. The trailers don't tell you much about the interesting turns it ends up taking, I thought they hid that really well in the marketing. I did think the post credits scene where James Gunn rapes a child onscreen was a bit strange though, but I guess it technically isn't part of the movie.
