Hence the "once upon a time" slates, it´s archetypes, it´s over acting, it´s wedding tier transitions, it´s emotional use of color and lighting, it´s stylized compositions, it´s use of the classic hero´s journey narrative structure. It´s not meant to feel rough or complex or "real", let alone mirror contemporary social issues. It´s mean to be more akin to a bed time story if anything.
Disney´s never made a single piece of Star Wars media. What they make, even using some of the same elements like light sabers and space wizards is fundamentally different. What Disney does is more akin to generic stuff like rebel moon. You could probably edit those two together and people wouldn´t be able to tell those are two different IPs.
