niggers and spics are not portrayed in the movie at all, besides one scene where the niggers rape the one nigger, and the fight with money. the spics are only relevant as the AB does a deal with their allied spics, and money visits the same guy outside once and the guy reminisces about how shitty prison was, because thats the only thing they had in common. thats literally the only non-white portrayal. the whites are shown as way more humanized, bernthal's character is an informant trying to escape the gang and prison with his girlfriend and its implied most of the members ended up there similarly to money, the one guy money kills first looks terrified, they dont rape or kill or harm anyone unprovoked.

There is a bit of humanizing in the fact that Money's path is one that can happen to people you least expect. But don't pretend this movie is some sob story that these prisoners (especially in the higher level prisons) are good people.
