It won't. Each of these movies drop by like 300m. Dominion barely made a billion because it was in theaters for 3 months with no competition and was rereleased, and still it -barely- made a billion. This movie is somehow getting lower audience reception than Dominion and has more competition. Even Dominion got an A-. Seems like this is basically The Last Knight of Jurassic movies. imo Universal will probably shutter the franchise for a bit.

they can't, it will lose screens to Superman and F4, and it's currently competing with F1. It didn't even get IMAX screens in the U.S because F1 took them all. The other one had nothing to compete with.

>> Jurassic Park 9 : Dinosaurs in Space
>> Breeding dinosaurs in a large space station/orbiting amusement park/hotel
>> Shit goes wrong dinosaurs get loose and the station's gravity generation fails and most electrical systems go out
>> Have to avoid carnivorous dinosaurs in zero G with minimal visibly/lighting
>> Survivors being chased everywhere even on the outside of the space station by dinosaurs equipped with space suits for testing dinosaur behavior in zero G environments and vacuums
>> Space station eventually crashes to Earth due to all of the chaos and power/gravity/propulsion systems failing
>> Turns out this was happening 100 million years before current day and the human looking researchers were actually aliens
>> Dinosaurs eat the remaining survivors then take over the prehistoric Earth
>> Flash forward to modern day Dr. Grant is working at a local dig sight
>> The movie closes with him drinking Whiskey and yelling at his interns to be careful not to damage anything

It could actually be pretty Kino if the producers decide to stop taking the premise to seriously.

>Theaters were still slow due to Covid, and 2022 was the peak of Bidenflation,
which ended up helping Jurassic World because it got to stay in theaters as the only option for people who wanted to see a blockbuster for months. Helped Top Gun: Maverick too. it cleared all competition from any smaller movies and made it so that only movies that could survive would stay, and made them thrive twice as much as they would in a normal market. Covid-19 didn't kill cinemas, it polarized them into bombs or insane hits.

I am very much sick of hybrids.
I get that they are all technically a hybrid, but it's only a matter of time before they start making human dino hybrids. They have been trying to do it since JP3 IIRC.

JW2 total: 1.3 billion

Each movie drops by about 300m. For JW:R to make 900 mil, it would have to only drop 100m from the last one. 300/100 is 3.

The Jurassic world movies have a budget of around 180 million each. They can keep this up for a couple more installments, though desu the next installment is probably expected to have a box office gross of some percentage of the one preceding it, not a fixed difference. And if CGI gets cheaper with time, so will the budget.

Really all they have to do is come up some exciting new dinosaurs (cause T. rex is boring now) and semi-interesting plot lines, and they can keep up Dino porn movies forever. Iโ€™d watch all of them. Remember the found-footage marketing campaign for Jurassic World Dominion? Iโ€™d watch a 10 installment series of just found footage clips like that, lol. They should do a found-footage Jurassic world movie kinda like cloverfield.

Hello 90s man. Kids want iPads and video games. They really need to reboot turok, get some young Charlie Sheen lookin motherfucker to front it (for the movie) and sell the movie as a loss leader for the video game. Hell at this point ea or Bethesda should just buy a movie studio and use it as a loss leader for all vidya and vr projects.

Dinosaur toys sells themselves and are pretty evergreen as far as toys go. Even brands like Star Wars will eventually be forgotten and irrelevant to kids but a Dinosaur toy will always be a Dinosaur toy. And any Dinosaur toy has more inherent appeal than whatever glup shitto.

And Jurassic basically has a monopoly on Dinosaur toys brand recognition. Universal makes serious bank of royalties from merchandise using the Jurassic brand. Every other competitor is basically a small niche.
