i remember watching this movie a bunch of times and always assumed and imagined because of how distinct they looked that the rest of kanedas main crew he went to school with aside from kai and yamagata had bigger roles in the manga with distinct personalities and that they did shit and that their appearance's in the movie were just cameos for fans to go "oh hey looks its that character" but then i ended up reading the manga and they dont even fucking exist in it and were literally just made for the movie to fill space
