It was funny for a second when the dog wouldn't go and he said GIT. But then... the scene just takes a terrible turn and he humourlessly blows the dog away - this isn't played for laughs, the dog is shown to be quite uncomfortably tussled although not injured. This is also very poor CGI. Then, the scene pointlessly attempts tension where superman may have died (?) nobody will think that? And then tediously he tunnels his way out.
I thought for a second I was going to be writing 'hey this is good' but then... bizarrely they threw it away.

They just make the monsters fill the frame of whatever shot they're using. It's all shakeycams and quick cuts so the audience won't even notice. In theory.

Anyway, I'm not obsessed. I don't really care about superheroes. I saw Iron Man, the First Captain America and Incredible Hulk and that's all in the MCU. I saw more DC movies, but not all of them. I did enjoy The Shadow, The Phantom and The Rocketeer, but they are more pulp than superheroes. Oh, and Jet Li's Black Mask. That movie was great.
