Five movies bombs in a row? No problem, deploy Inside Out 3/Toy Story 6 to recover all the losses.

I hate T*rning Red so much because, extreme Wokeness aside, no elementary school child was using a fucking cell phone in 2002 like how they use smarthphones in the 2020s.

What a lot of people that complain about stories and artstyle seem to miss is comedy.
Pixar movies all are essentially comedic movies relying very heavily on gags.
And 2020s humor just isn't funny.

I mean, puss in boots changed the artstyle for the sequel, and shrek 5 is sort of doing the same, but still, you can see some changes in the new characters in sequels, the new superheroes in incredibles 2 looks nothing like the style of the first one, and even some of the new emotions and blobs in inside out 2 have beanmouths, like Envy and the characters from Dream Productions

this is the bigger problem. there's nothing creative in someone going "OMG I WAS AN ASIAN TEENAGER ONCE" and make a whole movie about it. it's basically god's not dead in that the entire setting and premised is boring, uninspired trash.

You can’t honestly sit there and look at movies like Toy Story, Finding Nemo, and Incredibles and say they’re the exact same as Turning Red, Luca, and Elio. It’s not that people don’t want original movies, they don’t want bad movies.
