I wasn't a fan of her character the first time though but on rewatches she's fucking insufferable. she is the biggest fuck up in all of Miami metro which is saying something and yet she never faces any professional comeuppance despite all the stupid shit she does and in fact constantly gets promoted. some examples like assaulting multiple witnesses during interrogations, assaulting a prisoner to try and coerce a false confession, fucking a CI of a case she and the department are actively investigating, blackmailed a teenager into being her informant and then got him killed by offering no protection. that's just off the top of my head.
