Some interesting dinosaur designs but the whole thing felt super rushed, never really takes its time to develop its concepts or world. The writing and directing felt very dtv in quality

That's why you might as well kill off some of the kids for shock factor, but no plot like that would get greenlit. Just look at Jurassic park books, it had a baby being eaten alive by compys and the little girl in the second book. Gruesome stuff.
