The reason you dont notice her at first is because Sarah Gadon is such an immensely talented and dedicated actress who seamlessly melts into each role she plays and all you see is the character, not the actress. She doesn't play herself every time like so many other lesser hack actors. But once you become Gadonpilled you'll become obsessed with her.
