I've never watched Lost and at this point I can't be bothered. I heard it's some kind of cool mystery shit like Wayward Pines, but also a slop like From. Can anybody tl;dr it for me, but in such a way that it's exciting and I feel good about it?

Ensemble cast of all types crash on mysterious island and have to survive.but weird things happen.constantly which are never really explained in full and the writers string you along for 6 six seasons until it all ends with a giant buttplug (literally) and a protags pointless death solely to emotionally manipulate the audience.

Theres a vague general explanation on an almost thematic level but no details really. The constant mystery boxing left like a million unanswered questions and theres like one big one thats answered with a shit retcon that doesnt make sense

The first two or so seasons are worth watching if you're curious. After that it's the most aimless, padded, mishandled waste of time ever. Fuck that show. It's probably the only show I'm angry about. Fuck JJ, Lindelof, and all of those heebs.

I saw LOST when it first aired and rewatched it several times. It is one of my favorite shows. Its not perfect but its a fun fucking ride. Loved posting here during that time.
