The show was more or less illegal to run this whole time, as you need permits to shoot something like that in a regular-ass house. They already got in trouble last season and had to finish it in an RV heading to Las Vegas, but this time it was properly shut down and they had to end the current season after two weeks, as they can't shoot shit in all of Rhode Island anymore, where they own three houses bought precisely to stream Fishtank.
This show was ran in the most inept and arrogant way and I'm surprised it took two years for this to happen

The future of the show is unsure, but it they haven't publicly given up on it yet. They just need to sort it out legally (they might fuck it up/it'll take a long time) or stream in a proper studio in another state (they might be too lazy to do that/it'll take a long time).
