All they ever told me in school is how special and unique I am. All the time. Every day. All the posters in our classrooms were feeding the same lines. You can be anything anyone anywhere, you're the best etc.
This was supposed to negate our boomer parents that didn't show us any affection.
We realised it was all bullshit, but then that knowledge sent half of us insane, enter the manchild and quirkychungus, the manic pixie etc.
The rest of us resonate with the nihilism feeling because we were born at the end of the golden age. We saw our older siblings get raped in family court, our career paths changing 3-4 times on average, the cancer of multiculturalism and dei.
I still think zoomers have it worse though. They were raised with group think propaganda. I did some work at schools and noticed all the posters and such are now about working together in a team, being valuable to the team etc.
They keep trying to fix each new generation without considering how each generation will grow. Like an endless social experiment.

This was actually a massive failing on the part of western schools, in particular schools in America. "YOU CAN DO AAAAAAAAANYTHIIIINNGG!!!" was not what they should have been teaching us, especially when so much of it was career focused. It should have been a more nuanced "find your interests in life, your hobbies, etc. but for your livelihood, pick something that is realisitic, needed, and that hopefully you can tolerate the best."

Too many dipshits never grow out of wanting to "Be a Photographer!" without proper guidance that it shouldn't be a career choice, just a hobby, or at most a side-hustle if possible. It's why you have all these faggot ass art school failures that tried to make full careers out of HOBBIES, shackled with debt and praying for socialism.
