My problem wasn't him it was that the show isn't about the punisher. Wrote it above but he was the punisher in the flashbacks that happen before s1 starts... and then proceeds to use barely any weapons at all.
In fact the closest you get to him being the actual punisher is a cringekino cgi of him dual wielding guns at the end of the show.

Thing that fucks me up is how they try to teach kids that they shouldn't Burn Local. Way they say Big Jon's a bad role model.

True story; back when I was just a little hustlah, we doin' this little sheet in school that says 'What do you want to do when you grow up?' So teach axes us to read aloud what we wanna do and why, and kids sayin' B-ball player, rapper, whatever so it gets to me. Now, I was a little runt then, but I had spirit, you know? Whole show felt like an epilogue, but I still enjoyed it. You don’t get many characters like this often. Badass, masculine dudes who are unhinged enough to just fucking go out and slaughter the bad guys. I hope he actually gets to be the Punisher full time in future projects

That is why its so bothersome though, the flashbacks to what happen before s1 are 100% what I want to see in a show. It is done on purpose to insult actual fans at this point it has to be. Just like how Daredevil goes from being Daredevil to being a fucking retard after 1 season, same happened to Arrow. Capeslop writers can't fucking help themselves.
