But how's that translate to success? More people tuned in to some thing I've never heard of to hear Sam than Tim? That means very little. If that's the only instance of Sam beating Tim you have, and it is, it seems like Sam's the bigger loser. At least Tim is talented and has made a lot of stuff that's been on TV. Tim has been on movie screens multiple times too. Sam will NEVER be on a big screen.

Tim is legitimately funny. Even Sam has admitted that An Evening With Tim Heidecker is good.

I know it feels good to bitch and moan about mainstream comedians shutting out edgy newer comedians, and some of that's fair. But Tim legitimately worked his way up by doing weird outsider comedy really really well to the point where he gained that mainstream success. So, if you're saying "he has no talent" or "he's not funny" I just think you're objectively wrong, or you aren't actually familiar with Tim's work.
