The Alligator episode was mediocre, the poolhall hustler episode was good, the rest have been great.

My favorite this season so far is "A New Lease On Death" the one with the lesbian con artist.

The showrunner for season 1 was Rian Johnson and it was kino. Tony Tost took over for season 2 and the format just isn't as clever as it was before. I'm still watching it but it's kind of a letdown

I think my consistent complaint has been that they spend way too much time on the murder or the part with Charlie's connection to the murderee. There's so little of the "investigation" part in most of the new episodes. I liked the elementary school, baseball, and gym episodes. The one where they put Rhea Perlman's story on ice was unconventional but good too.

Weirdly attractive hag with the smoker voice. Feels like she stepped out of a time machine from the 70s and half the stories don’t really make sense. The five identical siblings one or whatever it was became pure schlock. She also doesn’t actually solve that many situations, and we alternate between being unable to bring a guy like the race car guy to justice with episodes where she has the ear of the FBI.

This show really made me love Columbo more.
