I've still to watch the 'good' MCU shit the first three whatevers (20 or so movies). I watched Iron man ages ago (meh). I have shelves of this superhero crap mostly unwatched aside from the frist two tim burton batmans and a cople of the the nolan batmans and the first reeves superman and a couple of the xmen ones. I have the transformers and teenage mutant ninja turtle movies on the same shelves.I have them all though, even green lanter and daredevil and ghost rider, endless shit.It's a shelf full of American pathos and civilisational decline as far as I'm concerned. The Death of Hollywood on a shelf. CGI cartoons and loud noises.
The moement Hollywood went insane? When it tried to market movie globally with 'Captain America' in the title. You can mark it right to that moment.
It was always cheap vile brainless and the only message was 'might is right' which given supermans origin as an American fanfick for Nazi Germany sums it all up. Then the entitled teenage brat being made do his schoolwork seething that if he had (insert random stupid power) then the would would know it's shit. Its the lowest of all genres lower than war, drama, history, sci fi, fantasy, comedy, sex comedies, even rom com. It's the furball American 'culture' vomited up in its waning decades. I will watch it someday, I watched suicide squad (at least it has ass) and that stupid Joker is le Taxi Driver shit. Hard to believe its the same hollywood that gave us Speilberg, Lucas, Sewgio Leone, Robert Redford, Paul Newman, Steve McQueen, Arnie, Kubrick, eastwood, Monroe, Bogart, David Lean Pre senile reidley scott and pre ego baloon James Cameroon (what thefuck even is avatar) etc
