This was all theatrics. These guys had an escape hatch and faked their own deaths, much like how the moon landing was faked in the late 60โs. Anyone failing to see this is a fucking sheep incapable of original thought

The truth is, the sub was good. The first sub was damaged during the test and Stockton Rush understood that it was decent but needed improvement. They got an improved version but kept the old one to show to any passengers before departing.
The staff still wanted Stockton out however, and sabotaged the engine so that it would fail midway and sink to the bottom. It did and to prevent a successful rescue, they dropped the damaged one and let it implode.
People think they went out easy, one crackle, pop, boom and lights out. But nope, Stockton and the billionaires died banging against the hull as the sub rested in the icy deeps. First the power went out, then after a few days in the darkness - possibly after they had a battle royale to stretch the remaining air by killing some of the passengers, the air ran out and everyone died. My dad is FBI and they discovered the wreck and extracted it in secret. Apparently one passenger (identity classified) lived for weeks. The others were partially eaten (except the pajeets for some reason, those two were stuffed in the toilets).
