Whedon kept doing that shit throughout the whole movie for some reason.
I remember that the cope at the time was that he did for an artistic and thematic reason, saying that Loki's scepter was messing with their minds and that's how Whedon chose to visually represent it.
But it is like that even in scene that has nothing to do with Loki or his scepter.

Kenneth Branagh has always been a hack. The amount of attention that garbage film, Henry V, got was utterly ridiculous and I lose respect for anyone who likes it. His Hamlet was filmed and acted even worse.
