I wanted it to not suck but, sadly it does. Scarjo is dry as fuck and it's sad, Ali does his best to sell it in every scene and he's probably the only actor that tried. The mutant dinosaurs get little to no explaination and they could easily have been replaced with normal dinosaurs for the same results. The lighting in some scenes isn't fitting for what they're going for the the storytelling / "touching moments" are handled like shit. There are parts of this i think are neat, and there are parts of this that are just wasted potential, the ending is flaccid and just kind of ends.. raptors are teased but immediately removed. The D-Rex could have been interesting as a mutated fuckup but the story kind of acts like it was "intentional" all of the in canister "mistakes" have two heads.. all of them.. it makes no sense. it sadly deserves the 5/10 it's getting.

Also i didn't mention the mexican family because i dislike every single one of them and they all deserve to die for various reasons. Sad state of a film that is somehow making money.

Premise:

But the biosphere is collapsing under the weight of these invasive species. Ecosystems are destabilizing, food chains are unraveling, and escaped prehistoric predators stalk the edges of civilization. Meanwhile, human genetic experimentation has blurred the line between man and beast, creating abominations that defy nature.

When a radical scientific faction claims to have discovered a way to "reset" evolution—wiping out all resurrected life to save the planet—humanity is forced to ask: Is this the cure, or just another form of extinction?

Act 1: The Breaking Point
Dr. Ellie Sattler, now a leading voice in ecological preservation, investigates a series of bizarre animal attacks in the Amazon. She discovers a hyper-evolved strain of prehistoric fungus (a callback to The Lost World novel) that is mutating modern flora and fauna.

Ian Malcolm, still warning of chaos theory’s consequences, is approached by a whistleblower from BioSyn (now a leader in human hybridization experiments). He learns of Project Thanatos, a plan to unleash a genetic "kill switch" that will target all resurrected species—including the human-animal hybrids.

A new protagonist, Dr. Riya Chaudhary, a geneticist who once worked for InGen, realizes that the kill switch could also trigger a mass extinction event in modern species due to unintended gene-drive propagation.

Act 2: The New World Disorder
The team infiltrates a de-extinction zoo in Singapore, where they witness the horrific results of human hybridization: creatures with human intelligence and animal instincts, kept in cages. One of them, a Neanderthal hybrid, helps them escape, revealing that BioSyn’s true goal is not to save the world—but to replace it.

Meanwhile, prehistoric predators (now interbreeding with modern animals) run rampant. A pack of Dire Wolf-Dromeosaur hybrids hunt survivors in a ruined city, while Titanoboa specimens slither through flooded urban ruins.

Malcolm and Sattler reconnect with Dr. Alan Grant, who has been tracking a new species of dinosaur—one that shouldn’t exist—suggesting that evolution itself is being artificially accelerated.

Act 3: The Edge of Extinction
The team races to stop BioSyn from deploying the kill switch, but the Neanderthal hybrid reveals a darker truth: Humanity was never meant to play God. The hybrids are the next step—a "correction" by nature itself.

A final showdown occurs in a collapsing underground lab, where the team must choose:

Destroy the kill switch, allowing the chaos to continue until Earth’s biosphere collapses.

Activate it, wiping out every resurrected species—including the hybrids, some of whom are more human than monster.

In the end, Malcolm makes a third choice: sabotage the system to target only the most destructive species, buying time for a real solution. But as the survivors escape, they witness something even more terrifying—a new predator, neither dinosaur nor mammal, stalking the shadows. Evolution is no longer in humanity’s control.
