The Last Knight was the first film she was ever even in, she was just on TV shows before that. She had a little bit of buzz after it, it being a film that underperformed due to collapsing in China which had gone gah gah for Age of Extinction, but nonetheless one in which she was cited as a good part of, and that got her cast in Dora and in the conversation for other notable roles. But like many other young actors and actresses, COVID wiped out any momentum they had and they were starting from scratch around 2021-2022. She's recovered unlike many others, but only in the past year, where Alien Romulus, The Last of Us and now Superman are some mainstream properties she has significant roles in. TLOU helps a lot because she was also universally cited as one of the highlights of that season.

She was never a leading star, outside of Dora, always a supporting character, but she was always in the conversation for major films, just narrowly missing out on a few (for instance she was a finalist for Ratcatcher in Gunn's The Suicide Squad, evidently he remembered her). But she most certainly dropped out of that position post COVID and in 2021-2023 she was in total nothing films on streaming, nonsense no one saw. She most certainly is in the most prominent mainstream position right now that she's ever been in.
