Since /TV/ unanimously agrees that this is the best Kubrick film ever made and therefore the best film ever made, what are some other good kinos from this time period and aesthetic to watch?

Kubrick is mid and I'd actually claim Villeneuve is the superior director. To answer your question: Tom Jones.

Duelists
Amadeus
Black Robe
Waterloo

Who else watching Lyndon on the big screen?

I honestly hate Kubrick glazing so much; it's quintessential anti cinema action.

It’s about a commoner guy having to move up in the world and fit in with rich society without being found out as a fraud, pretty relatable and fun

Isn't that just Great Expectations though?

I will be partaking in this kino tonight thank you. I need to give Amadeus a try I kept thinking it would be boring because of musical genius bickering, but I fear I was deeply wrong.

We’ve already established that is not true in the /TV/ Council of the Kinos if you wish to file an appeal you can, in the meantime recommend some films like the OP

I avoided Amadeus for years because of this, assuming it was some boring historical nonsense. It was shockingly good, just wish I could have found the theatrical cut instead as most people say thats better than directors

What are formans other films like? I've only seen amadeus and cuckoo's nest and both are certified kino

The Duelists mogs Barry London by being more to the point and a defense of European civilization instead of a weird Jewish assault on it.

More substance than Kubrick. Also, pulling a righteous >no u on that midwit accusation, you sad little fuck.

Again, the /TV/ Elders have made there decision and we must respect it. If you don’t like the decision you can at least recommend some other kinos like OP, the Duellist excluded.

The /tv/ elders are geriatric fucks with shriveled up brains who lust over minors and stomp on puppies. Fuck them.
