>Homer uses a new miracle hair growth formula called Dimoxinil.
>He grows hair overnight and is soon given a promotion.
>Bart spills Homer's remaining Dimoxinil and Homer loses all of his hair.
>Homer is demoted back to his old position and no one pays attention to anything he has to say anymore.

This is the most blackpilled episode of television in history.

Hair itself is not, but the self esteem that getting your hair back can give you makes a huge difference to your overall health.

The risks from fin are terrible if it happens to you but 19 times out of 20, there are no real sides.

Losing your hair young can cause major depression and lack of self esteem, that will ruin your dick worse than anything.

>>212504653
You can get sides but if that's the case just stop doing it or lower your dose (permanent PFS shilling shit is a meme though)

Only side I had was my balls slightly hurt the first day and then nothing since then outside of the 1 month in "dread shred" (which isn't really a side just part of the process) where your shitty dying hair shreds to get better stronger hairs in

That looked fucking brutal and made my hairloss look a lot worse than I thought it was but it quickly grew back.

Nothing wrong with being bald it's part of life but people should at least give fin and min a go to see if it works for them if they even entertain the idea of wanting to keep their hair

The downsides of finasteride are endless and often permanent. I would rather look like an orc than put that shit in my body.

No. The most blackpilled episode in TV history was when this same plot happened in Seinfeld but worse. George literally turns his life around, becomes more confident, happy, etc. after getting a toupee. The very fact that George was no longer miserable caused Elaine to fly into a rage and attack him, destroying his toupee in the process. Immediately afterwards, his entire life falls apart again.

its more about spreading the lie that physical appearances are all that matter, that some physical attribute will equate to success. that class mobility is possible.

the reality is success is solely about having generational wealth and who you know.

Wut? Big Phrama has invested billions into curing baldness. The problem is that it's an extremely complex issue that stems for natural biological processes. Most men will experience some degree of balding by their 60s, even if they don't lose all of their hair. It's a hormonal thing.

Your hair begins getting thinner and less dense literally by the middle of puberty. This goes for men and women. No human has better hair at 55 than they did at 16. It may be that for some people the rate is so slow that it takes decades to notice but it's still happening and that is not the norm anyway.
Hair loss affects 100% of humans

This is a false dichotomy. Treating hair loss does not mean there isn't treatment being researched for endo. I personally suffer from prostate problems where only "cure" seems to be removing it. But it would not help my case anyway if I would complain about flat chested women improving their self-esteem with breast enlargement surgeries.

DHT has a huge impact on libido

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2549675/
>Serum dihydrotestosterone concentration was the only independent hormonal predictor of the frequency of orgasms; an increase in concentration of 1.36 nmol/l (about 2 SD) corresponded to an average increase of one orgasm a week

it also affects other sexual markers:
https://academic.oup.com/edrv/article/38/3/170/3861397
>Suppression of circulating and tissue DHT concentrations is associated with decreases in libido and erectile function in some men (<10%)

neurosteroids
>Testosteroneโ€™s anti-anxiety benefits were shown to be a result of the actions of DHT in the brain
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/15721054/

>The drug finasteride, which lowers DHT levels in the blood, may induce symptoms of depression
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/19732831/

memory
>Men between the ages of 34 and 70 showed improvements in memory when treated with DHT skin patches
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2701485/

cognitive function
>serum T, DHT, free T and E1 remained significantly associated with cognitive decline
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/25867811/

bone density
>DHT is vital for bone density โ€“ increased blood levels are associated with higher bone density in men
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/19732831/

autoimmune diseases
>DHT was useful in treating autoimmune conditions such as multiple sclerosis (MS), prostatitis, Gravesโ€˜ and uveitis by balancing the immune system. Specifically, it can lower T helper cells (Th1) that are higher in autoimmune diseases
